Rules
- Specimen MUST be observed in Arkansas.
- Specimen MUST be wild; NOT captive or newly released.
- Specimen MUST be alive or DOR at time of observation.
- Specimen MUST be identified to the species level. (Exceptions would be visually identical species, such as "Gray Treefrog", "Slimy Salamander", etc.)
- Specimen MUST be identified by sight, NOT by call only.
- Specimen MAY be captured so that it is "in hand", but this is not mandatory. (Species that are venomous or with special status should NOT be touched or aggravated at all.)
- Specimen MAY count for more than one category, such as "First Snake" and "First Nonvenomous Snake".
