Near Logoly State Park, Columbia County, Arkansas, USA
Two larval salamanders were brought to ecology camp by Jim Gann for use in the herpetology class. Although they started camp at about the same stage of development, by the end of camp, the differences were striking. One obviously pushed through metamorphosis, while the other lagged behind.
