Camp Clearfork, Near Crystal Springs, Ouachita National Forest, Garland County, Arkansas, USA

The entomology class at Ecology Camp turned up a couple of Four-toed Salamanders as they dug around under logs for beetle grubs.

This picture shows the characteristic constriction at the base of the tail and the four toes.
