Glenn's over there taking pictures of a Flathead Snake...ruining my shot. Just kidding... Actually, I think we should have posed him as the "approaching herper". As is, it's saying more "oblivious herper", I think.

This seem to have become a popular style of herp shot (showing the animal in wide angle with a lot of habitat). I kind of like these shots myself and I'm not too proud to leech. Credit where credit is due though...Van suggested the pose.
