A parting shot of the female through the foliage. I didn't quite have the right lens on my camera to capture them both together, but the male was left just behind her in those shadows. Once we cleared out, I have little doubt in my mind that they picked right back up where they left off...
The encounter was easily one of my very best herping experiences and one in which I will never forget!
