I came across this large specimen sunning itself in the grass by a pond.
Pictures were taken a few days later. In the process, I found out it had a good aim and plenty of punch with the biting! In fact, I found out about four times! (Note to self: flinching makes it worse.) At least I got it to cooperate for some belly shots.
